AI agent development: agentic and multi agent systems

Agents that take real actions, safely, observably, within limits you set.

Design and deployment of autonomous AI agents and multi agent systems that can reason, plan, and execute complex workflows independently.

The brief

Autonomous Agentic AI & Multi Agent System Architecture

Agentic systems move AI from answering questions to taking action. Our AI agent development work covers single agents, coordinated multi agent systems and the MCP servers that connect them to your tools, so they can reason, act and complete real business workflows, with the monitoring and guardrails that make autonomy safe to ship.

Without it
  • Your team copy pastes between five tools to finish one workflow.
  • A chatbot answers questions but can’t actually do anything.
  • Early agent experiments loop, invent tool calls or act without oversight.
With Caudify
  • Agents that plan and execute multi step workflows across your real systems.
  • Human in the loop checkpoints wherever the stakes are high.
  • Every agent step traced, so behaviour can be audited and improved.
01

Single agent orchestration

A focused agent with clear goals, tools and memory. The right starting point for most workflows.

Capabilities
  1. 1Task & tool design
  2. 2Planning & memory strategy
  3. 3Stop conditions & budgets
02

Multi agent collaboration frameworks

Specialist agents coordinated by a supervisor when one agent isn’t enough.

Capabilities
  1. 1Role & hand off design
  2. 2LangGraph state machines
  3. 3Shared context & conflict handling
03

Tool use & function calling integration

Safe, typed access to your APIs, databases and SaaS tools, including custom MCP servers.

Capabilities
  1. 1Custom MCP servers
  2. 2Typed tool schemas
  3. 3Scoped credentials & permissions
04

Agent monitoring & guardrails

Tracing, evals and policy checks that make autonomy safe to ship and easy to debug.

Capabilities
  1. 1Step level tracing
  2. 2Approval gates & policies
  3. 3Trajectory regression evals
How we deliver

AI is in the room from day one.

We don't bolt AI on at the end of a project. It's part of how we research, design, build, test and document every engagement, which is how a small senior team moves quickly without cutting corners. A person reviews everything the models produce.

On AI agent development

Agent workflows are prototyped against your real tools early, and every step is traced, so failures show up in testing rather than in production.

  • A person signs off. No model output reaches your users or your codebase without review.
  • Your data stays yours. Zero-retention API settings or private models when your data requires it.
  • Model-agnostic. We pick models by measured quality, cost and privacy, not by vendor.
  1. Discover

    Requirements mapped with LLMs

With your permission, briefs, tickets, call notes and analytics exports go into a private workspace. LLMs map requirements, edge cases and open questions, so nothing said in a workshop gets lost. People run the workshops; the model keeps the record.

  2. Prototype

Something real to react to, early

First-pass screens, flows and copy variants are generated from the spec, then shaped by our designers. Decisions happen on a clickable prototype instead of a document, and the final design system stays human-made.

  3. Build

    AI pair programming, human review

Engineers work with AI coding assistants for scaffolding, tests and refactors. Every change is read by a person and scanned by Caudilysis, our own static analysis platform, before it merges.

  4. Verify

Evals and generated tests in CI

AI features get an evaluation set built from real examples, and every model or prompt change is scored against it. Everything else gets generated test cases that an engineer reviews and keeps in the pipeline.

  5. Ship and learn

    Docs, runbooks and monitoring

Documentation, runbooks and release notes are drafted with AI and checked by the team. After launch, monitoring and usage data feed straight into the next iteration.

Engagement

How a AI agent development engagement runs.

The indicative shape of a first engagement. Phases overlap on purpose, so we start building while discovery is still sharpening the plan.

  2. 02Tools & MCPExpose systems as safe, typed tools.

This is indicative only. Every engagement is scoped with you before it starts.

Fit

Is AI agent development right for you?

  1. 01

You have a repeatable, multi step workflow that spans several systems.

  2. 02

You need an agent to act, not just answer, with guardrails.

  3. 03

You want to expose internal systems to AI through MCP.

Questions

AI agent development questions, answered.

What is the difference between an AI agent and a chatbot?

A chatbot responds to messages. An agent is given a goal and tools (APIs, databases, other software) and decides which steps to take to reach that goal, checking results as it goes.

How do you stop an agent from doing something harmful?

Agents only get the tools and permissions a task needs, high impact actions require human approval, step and spend budgets cap runaway loops, and every step is logged for review.

What is MCP, and do we need it?

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard for connecting AI models to tools and data. MCP servers for your systems let any compatible agent or assistant use them safely, without one off integrations. Our MCP server development covers tool design, per user permissions, hosting and monitoring.
