Hire AI engineers who ship to production
You can hire Caudify's AI engineers in three ways: one or more engineers embedded in your team, a dedicated AI pod that owns a product area, or a scoped project with a fixed outcome. Every engagement is remote, starts with a free scoping conversation, and you own the code, data and documentation from day one.
- Remote, worldwide
- You own the code
- Human review on every change
- Model-agnostic
AI developers, LLM engineers and AI agent developers.
Three overlapping specialisms. Most AI products need the first; the other two go deep where the hard part is the model layer or autonomous actions.
Hire AI developers
Full-stack engineers who build AI features and AI apps end to end, from model choice to the interface people use.
- Claude API
- OpenAI API
- Python
- TypeScript
Hire LLM engineers
Specialists in the model layer: retrieval, model selection, fine tuning, private hosting and evaluation.
- pgvector
- Hugging Face
- LoRA
- vLLM
Hire AI agent developers
Engineers who build agents that take real actions in your systems, safely: tools, MCP servers, approvals and tracing.
- MCP
- LangGraph
- Claude Agent SDK
- Tool calling
Three ways to work with Caudify's AI engineers.
Pick by how much of the work you want to own. You can move between them as the product grows.
Embedded engineers
Caudify engineers join your standups, repositories and tools, and work from your backlog under your technical lead.
- Best when
- You have a product team and need AI depth inside it.
- You bring
- Direction and priorities
- Caudify brings
- Senior AI engineering, code review, Caudilysis scans on our changes
Dedicated AI pod
A small cross-functional Caudify team owns an AI product area end to end: discovery, build, evals, release and iteration.
- Best when
- You need a whole AI capability built and run, not extra hands.
- You bring
- Goals and decisions
- Caudify brings
- Delivery, quality, evals, hosting and reporting
Scoped project
A defined scope, milestones and acceptance criteria agreed up front, delivered and handed over with documentation.
- Best when
- The outcome is clear: a RAG assistant, an agent, an integration.
- You bring
- Acceptance and feedback
- Caudify brings
- The finished, tested, documented system
Caudify engineers, a freelancer or an in-house hire?
Each is the right answer for someone. This is how they differ in practice.
| Caudify engineers | Freelancer | In-house hire | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Time to first commit | After a scoping call | Fast, if you find the right person | Slowest: sourcing, interviews, notice periods |
| Who reviews the work | A Caudify reviewer and Caudilysis, on every change | Usually no one but you | Your own team |
| Cover for leave or exit | The team keeps the context | Work stops | Work slows until you rehire |
| AI delivery practices | Evals, tracing and model choice built in | Varies by person | Built over time |
| Commitment | Agreed per engagement | Flexible | Long term, plus employment costs |
| Best when | You need production AI without building the team first | A small, well-defined task | AI is core and permanent and you can wait |
From first call to code in your repository.
- Tell us what you're buildingA free assessment or a call: the product, the data, the constraints and where AI should help.
- Get a plan, not a CV pileWe propose the engagement model, the skills it needs and a first milestone. Rates are quoted for your scope.
- Meet the engineersYou talk to the people who will do the work before anything starts.
- Ship in small, visible stepsWork lands in your repositories with reviews, evals and demos you can see, not a big reveal at the end.
- Keep everythingCode, prompts, eval sets, infrastructure and documentation are yours. Hand over to your team whenever you choose.
What stays true, whichever model you pick.
How we use AI in delivery, stage by stage, is written up in AI-assisted software development at Caudify.

Hiring AI engineers, answered.
How much does it cost to hire an AI developer from Caudify?
It depends on the engagement model, the skills involved and how long you need them, so we quote per scope after a free scoping conversation. We don't publish a rate card, because a RAG prototype, an embedded senior engineer and a dedicated pod are priced very differently.
Can we hire just one AI engineer?
Yes. An embedded engagement can be a single engineer working inside your team. You still get the studio behind them: every change they make is reviewed by a person and scanned by Caudilysis, our static analysis platform.
Do we own the code and models?
Yes. The code, prompts, evaluation sets, fine-tuned weights, infrastructure and documentation are yours from day one and live in your repositories and cloud accounts.
Where are your engineers based, and what hours do they work?
Caudify is remote-first and works with clients worldwide, in English. Overlap hours with your team are agreed at the start of each engagement.
Is this a job posting?
No. These pages are for companies that want to hire Caudify's engineers. If you want to work at Caudify, see our open roles on the careers page.
Tell us what you're building.
A free assessment is the start of every engagement. We look at the product, the data and the constraints, then come back with an honest view of whether hiring AI engineers is the right move and how we would staff it.
